TGH 2023 Annual Report

Greetings from the Editorial Office of Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology (TGH)!

We are pleased to share with you the 2023 Annual Report of TGH. 2023 has seen much progress for the journal:

TGH received its first impact factor update for the 2022 citation year: 3.
TGH has published 42 articles in 2023 and TGH authors mainly come from USA.
TGH website has obtained 178,436 pageviews from 79,980 users in 2023 (Data Source: Google Analytics on Jan. 4, 2024).
Number of total citations by SCI journals has significantly increased to 4,817 (updated on Jan 2, 2024).

Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology 2022 CiteScore Released: 7.2

We are pleased to announce that the Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology (TGH) has received its 2022 CiteScore: 7.2, ranking 27 out of 149 journals in the Gastroenterology category.

Furthermore, we are delighted to highlight the remarkable achievements made by all AME journals in the CiteScore ranking.

The First Impact Factor for Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology: 3

We are pleased to announce that the Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology (TGH) has attained its first impact factor update for the 2022 citation year: 3.

Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology is going to receive its first impact factor in June 2023

According to the latest news of Web of Science, Clarivate Analytics on July 26, 2022, in the 2023 release of the Journal Citation Report™, all Web of Science Core Collection™ journals will receive a Journal Impact Factor (JIF)™. This means expanding the JIF from Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE)™ and Social Science Citation Index (SSCI)™ to include journals from the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (AHCI)™ and the multidisciplinary Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)™.

Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology (TGH) is now a member of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)

Starting from July 2021, AME Publishing Company is formally recognized a publisher member of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and over 60 AME-published journals become a member of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), as part of AME’s commitment to best practice in scholarly publishing. Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology (TGH) is among the list of COPE membership.

AME entered an official partnership with Publons to enhance wide-ranging recognition for reviewers

AME Publishing Company entered an official partnership with Publons, a product of Clarivate Analytic Company (which owns Web of Science, EndNote, ScholarOne, among many others), as of April 2020. Around 60 AME journals’ peer review systems are now integrated seamlessly into the Publons platform (https://publons.com/about/home). The partnership was done to recognize our expert peer reviewers spontaneously for their review contribution.

Implementation of transparent peer review at Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology

With a commitment to openness and accountability, and to increase the level of transparency throughout our peer review process, our editorial office has decided to implement a transparent peer review process as an option for all manuscripts submitted to TGH from March 19, 2020.
