Dr. Liao is a surgeon of Hepatobiliary Surgery in The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. He completed his undergraduate degree in The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, and Ph.D degree in Fudan University. From 2011 to 2013, he studied in the department of pathology, University of California, San Diego (UCSD) as a joint doctor. He is familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of common and rare diseases involved in this professional field. His clinical specialty includes hepatopancreatobiliary surgery and laparoscopic surgery. Dr Liao presided over and participated in a number of natural science foundations of China (NSFC). Moreover, he has a wide range of research interest and is now mainly focusing on: Pathogenesis and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma. Dr. Liao has published more than 40 articles in this field including more than 20 SCI articles.
